Singita Game Reserves

Singita is an initiator and innovator of luxurious high design in world-class ecological environments that allow visitors to interact with the natural surroundings, with minimum impact on the delicate eco-systems. Equally, it is our philosophy to offer every visitor the finest bush experience in Africa. Singita, which takes its name from the Shangaan word meaning ‘the miracle', is dedicated to uplifting local communities, therefore making an authentically tangible difference to the lives of many people.

As well as lodges in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, there are Singita  in the Kruger National Park, Zimbabwe and Tanzania.

Singita Sabi Sand is situated in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, located in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa.

The Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve comprises of 63 000 hectares of wild natural bushveld, and is made up of a series of privately owned game reserves adjacent to the Kruger National Park.  In the early 1990's the Kruger National Park and the private land owners agreed to drop the fences between the reserves to allow for free movement of the game.  During your stay, you will traverse 18 000 hectares of the Reserve, of which 6000 hectares is owned by Singita.

There are three lodges on the property - Boulders and Ebony, two magnificent lodges overlooking the Sand River, allow guests to interact with nature in a lavish milieu that has earned Singita the highest international accolades for exceptional standards in accommodation, service and cuisine. Castleton Camp, is perfect for a large family get-together or corporate booking.  The camp accommodates a maximum of 12 guests and is reserved only on an exclusive use basis.  Castleton offers a homely experience, with rolling lawns and overlooks a large watering hole that teems with wildlife.

Singita Sweni and Lebombo lodges, each breathtaking in their own right, are located on the 15,000 hectare N'wanetsi Concession within the Kruger National Park which - spanning 2,300 000 hectares - is one of the largest in the world. In 2001, for the first time, the National Parks Board offered concessions in certain areas of the Kruger National Park, for private tender.  This was a unique opportunity for Singita Game Reserves to obtain a property in this world-renowned wilderness area. And so, the concept of Singita Kruger National Park was born.

One of Africa's ‘best-kept secrets,' Singita Pamushana Lodge is found within the Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve in south-eastern Zimbabwe.  It sits inconspicuously on a rocky promontory, proving panoramic views of the pristine Nyamasikana Gorge. Nestling beneath the trees, the lodge incorporates the natural environment and the ‘forest-like' architecture enhances views of the pool, the lush gardens and dam below, creating a sense of being outdoors, wherever you are. Embracingly bold and generously proportioned in every sense, Pamushana (a Changana name for ‘a place in the sun') Lodge comprises six suites and one large villa, each offering incredible views of the dam.

Singita Grumeti Reserves, bordering the Serengeti National Park, is located in northern Tanzania, forming part of the Serengeti Mara eco-system. There are three Singita lodges found in the Grumeti Reserves concession which spans over some 350 000 acres of virgin wilderness. With a focus on privacy and exclusivity, there are only 76 beds collectively between Sasakwa Lodge, Sabora Tented Camp and Faru Faru Lodge.
