Sponsorship is only confirmed once we have received a deposit of 20% into our account. If the event is within a month then full payment will be required.

Winter Social Pub Quiz

Our annual pub quiz began in 2010, and proving such a success, will be continuing! It is a great networking opportunity and good fun to top.

Indaba Event

Two opportunities await here:

Firstly, we are looking for a stand at indaba where we are able to host an informal drinks reception from 17:00 for 2hours (no cost). 

Secondly, we are looking for sponsorship of the drinks & snacks.  Members and potential new members will be invited to the function.  This is a great opportunity for you to gain exposure and network with attendees from all parts of the travel industry including tourist boards, airlines, car hire companies, tour operators, hoteliers, representation companies and media.

AGM 2011 (July 2011)

For 2011, we will be having a light lunch, with refreshments, followed by our SATOA Annual General Meeting at South Africa House, Trafalgar Square, London.  The new committee is announced and chairlady's and treasurer's report given.  This event is free for members to attend and gives them the opportunity to meet the committee and network with other members as well as find out more about what SATOA is planning and put their views forward to be discussed.

Summer Social (September 2011)

SATOA's annual get together of members and potential new members, taking place at a fantastic riverside location in London and complete with BBQ (braai). The sponsorship covers venue hire and part of the food. WTM 2011 Networking Function (8th November 2011)

This event is held annually, usually on the Tuesday evening during WTM.  The opportunity is to sponsor food, drinks, venue hire, etc. and network with approximately 60 attendees from all parts of the travel industry including tourist boards, airlines, car hire companies, tour operators, hoteliers, representation companies and media.

£50 per issue

Four newsletters per year are sent to SATOA's members and trade database, as well as media and consumers.  You are able to sponsor the headline banner for all issues, or alternatively per issue.

Dedicated E-Newsletter

£50 per issue

As a member, you receive one FREE dedicated newsletter a year to our database (artwork will need to be provided).  However, if you would like to have more, you can purchase them as necessary.

Dedicated Press Release

£50 per issue

As a member, you receive one free dedicated press release a year to our database (artwork will need to be provided).  However, if you would like to have more, you can purchase them as necessary.

Trade Workshops

From £250

You can sponsor our workshops, which currently are held at least 6 times throughout the year, at various locations around the country.  There are up to 40 independent and maniple agents attending each of these workshops.  You are able to sponsor the food, the wine or the venue hire or all three.

Trade Workshops - Brochure Drop (overseas members only)

£150 per workshop

With an average of 6 travel agent workshops a year, and various other events, this is a great way to get your products to the travel industry professionals.  You will need to provide us with 40 copies per workshop.

Your Benefits:

  • Bags are distributed to approx 40 travel industry professionals per workshop
  • Copy of your marketing material placed within the bags at each workshop
