Introducing Lemala Cubs - kids activities for family safaris
Effective 1st July 2015, Lemala Camps are introducing a range of activities for children which will maintain their interest, be educational, and most importantly ensure that they have fun whilst on safari.
Staying at Lemala Camps will be an opportunity to introduce children to the wonders of the African bush. As current custodians of Tanzania's wildlife it is our intention to show future generations the need for conservation and preservation of Africa's wildlife.
Diversity is the spice of life, and we will be offering a variety of activities appealing to a child's sense of adventure. These include time spent with the Maasai learning to throw (blunt) spears; use bows and arrows; tracking around the camps with our resident guides in search of creep crawlies or making plaster casts of the night visitors tracks; as well as early morning game drives. After a busy day there is time to sit under an Acacia and listen to the African fables that have captivated children's imaginations for countless years.
